Where it all began
Our History
The company xDevelop OG was originally founded by Michael Haider and Bernhard Wörndl-Aichriedler, two students of the HTL-Salzburg in 2009. While Michael Haider pursued a career in academia to become Dr.-Ing. Michael Haider working at the world-renowned TUM, Bernhard Wörndl-Aichriedler continued his work as a sole proprietor under the xDevelop banner, while finishing his studies.
In 2015 the company moved to a small office in central Salzburg, expanding the office in 2018. Outgrowing this location, the company moved to a much larger office again in 2021.
The continuous expansion over a decade made it necessary to restructure the company, to the current xDevelop GmbH. Now with more than ten employees, the office space was expanded yet again in 2024 and 2025.
The company can look back on well over a decade of exciting project, released products and solved technical challenges.

You are on a budget, therefore we are on a budget. Every error costs money and it cost more money, the later in the project it is detected. So our primary goal is minimize errors - right from the specification.
